unveiling a new appreciation

Don't tar and feather me just yet for saying this, but I’m not a huge fan of animation. I don’t know why, but it's what I've always told myself. I always say I don't relate; I can't get into it. I mean, yeah, I enjoyed cartoons as kid but that's different. This notion is so strongly etched into my brain that I had myself foolishly, fully convinced of this aversion. A testament to the power of thought because the fact of the matter is every time I watch or see something animated I enjoy it. (Actually, maybe this example discredits the power of thought. Something I'll have to think about a bit more.) I guess I had to say all that just so I could say this: I adore Wall-E.

I'm also starting to like a lot more. Other great animations of note: The work of my friend Micheline. I get the pleasure of working with her on many projects. If you need a website, or anything designed for that matter, she's your gal. And this cartoon, Crazy Mixed Up Pup, always a favorite.
